Our program is designed to help anyone with Diabetes or Pre-Diabetes, so they can partake in the activities they enjoy. Learn the skills and strategies in a safe and welcoming environment to help overcome any challenges you may be experiencing. It’s all based on years of research and evidence and it’s run by experienced healthcare practitioners.

The Program
1) Initial Assessment – 30 mins
A detailed discussion and assessment reviewing your goals, current physical activities, injuries, health conditions and any barriers to exercise.
2) Group Exercise Class (3 person max) – 30 mins
Module 1 (6 weeks)
2 exercise classes per week. All classes involve resistance exercises and will be tailored to your ability and fitness level. Practitioners will focus on your form, observing correct posture and making sure you perform each exercise safely, even if it means using a lighter weight to begin with.
Module 2 (6 weeks)
1 exercise class per week. Consolidate the skills and knowledge you have learnt in module 1, and where appropriate, increase the intensity and variety of the resistance exercises to boost your health and vitality.
3) 12 week review – 30 mins
At the end of your 12 week exercise program you will have a 1-1 review session to see how much you have improved and achieved. Your practitioner will create a new weekly exercise program for the next 12 weeks, designed to continue to increase your strength, performance and health outcomes.
At the completion of the program, you are more than welcome to continue supervised exercise classes in our gym. Or, you can take what you have learned and put it into practice yourself at home. If you need assistance along the way, you can always make another review appointment to get the advice and tweaks to your program as needed.

All assessments, reviews and exercise classes are provided by healthcare practitioners and are
eligible for Private Health Rebates (extras for Chiro/Osteo)
