Dr Mond has a particular interest in thyroid conditions and undertook further research into molecular aspects of thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer at Prince Henry’s Institute of Medical Research. He was awarded a PhD in 2015. He is currently joint lead of the multidisciplinary thyroid clinic at Monash Health and has a close working relationship with a number of Endocrine surgeons.
