David developed his interest in Osteopathy after seeking treatment for one of his own injuries while playing hockey. He saw the benefits of a tailored approach to address the underlying cause of his pain and not just his symptoms. This led him to follow his passion for helping people by becoming an Osteopath himself.
David has worked in private practice clinics in the eastern suburbs treating a range of patients of varying backgrounds and ages. He believes good communication and hands on skills are key to providing the best improvements for a patient. This typically involves, explaining the nature of the injury and giving clear practical advice on how to get better faster. His management plans are tailored to the patient’s lifestyle and will always include hands on treatment techniques and exercise/rehab prescription. David continues to expand his skills and knowledge, regularly attending seminars and training programs to stay up to date with the most effective healthcare techniques.
David is a keen sportsman with a passion for exercise and has been active all his life. He is a qualified Personal Trainer and worked as a sports trainer for the Box Hill Football Club, giving him a lot of experience in treating and managing sporting injuries. Outside the clinic, he enjoys staying fit, playing hockey, weight training and running.
