Not sure who to see?

You don’t need to make the decision alone. Our reception team can help you find a suitable starting point. Simply call our clinic on (03) 9570 1552 or send us an email at reception@activehealth.com.au.

Do I need a referral?

In general, an appointment with our dietitian or nutritionist does not require a referral. If you are under the CDM Medicare programme or an Eating Disorder Management Plan (EDMP), you will need an appropriate GP referral.

Can I claim with private health insurance?

Private health insurance rebates are available for eligible appointments with Maddie, our dietitian. We recommend checking with your health fund to see whether you are covered for these services. You can also check with reception before booking.

I want to lose weight but also have a medical condition. Who should I see?

If managing a medical condition is your primary concern, Maddie may be a good first step. If your goal is body composition or lifestyle coaching, Melissa may be suitable. Call us if you’re unsure.
